Organizational Structure and Staff
the Administration Division
the Archival Division            1. the Department of Early Fonds and Collections (OSF) - keeps archival fonds up to 1918, personal papers, collections, maps and plans without a time limitation.
2. the Department of New Fonds and Collections (ONF) - keeps archival materials from 19l8 to 1968.
3. the Department of Pre-Archival Care (OPS) - provides methodological guidance and supervision to governmental bodies and others organizations of national-wide importance in the field of records management services, retention scheduling and disposal of records. It acquires archival documents after 1968 and in the cases of ceased organisations it serves also as a records centre.
4. the Department of Reference Services (OAI) - provides a link between the Archives and the general public. It includes the mailing room, the search room, the library and the microfilms collection.
5. the Department of Archival Preservation (OAO) - includes the restoration and conservation laboratories, the photo laboratory and the disinfecting chamber.
6. the Science and Research Section (KVV) - carries out tasks in the sphere of theoretical and practical study of procedures and problems relating to archival functions.
