Request for search of documents to restitution processes - property confiscation and nationalization


The request must contain the following information:

  • owner's name whose property was confiscated or nationalized

  • cadastral region

  • year of property confiscation or nationalization

  • object of confiscation or nationalization (ground, enterprise, firm, trade, etc.)

  • relationship to owner, or verified authorisation in the case of representing such person.

Administrative fees:

Verified copies of confiscation decrees are charged according to tariffs of administrative fees specified in the supplement of  Act of Slovak National Council No 232/1999 Coll. on Administrative Fees by the amount of 50.- Sk (Slovak koruna) for copy of 1 page and by 50.- Sk for verifying of 1 page.

If the result of search is negative, search activity is charged by the amount of 100,- Sk for request according to article 14 paragraph 3 of Regulation No SVS-204-2001/00016 of Archives Administration of the Ministry of the Interior of the SR.
